Cancellation & Refund

In one paragraph

Yapd is a digital product. There are no subscriptions to cancel. Credits and Encore unlocks are delivered to your account instantly and are non-refundable. If a wrap or Encore fails on our side and is never delivered, the credit is automatically returned to your wallet so you can try again. Try the free starter credits first to confirm Yapd does what you want before buying a pack.

1. What you can buy

  • Credit packs: bundles of 1, 3, or 10 credits added to your account. One credit makes one wrap. Encore costs 3 credits.
  • Encore unlock: a long-form AI essay generated against a saved wrap.

Both are one-time purchases. There are no recurring charges, no free trials that auto-renew, and no subscriptions.

2. Cancellation

Because every purchase is one-time and delivered immediately, there is nothing to cancel. If a checkout window is open and you change your mind, simply close it. No charge is made until payment is confirmed.

You can stop using your account at any time. To delete it entirely (including saved wraps, Encore reports, and credit balance) email privacy@yapd.in. Account deletion does not refund any remaining credits.

3. All sales are final

Credits and Encore unlocks are non-refundable once delivered. Reasons:

  • The product is fully digital and consumed immediately on use.
  • AI generation has a real per-call cost we pay to our providers the moment your credit is spent.
  • You can confirm exactly what Yapd produces using your 2 free starter credits before paying for anything.

4. Automatic credit-back on failure

If a wrap or Encore fails on our side and is never delivered to your library, the credit is automatically returned to your wallet within minutes. You can immediately try again at no extra cost.

“Failure on our side” means an internal error in our pipeline. It does not include:

  • A wrap whose output you simply did not enjoy. The wrap was generated; you got what you paid for.
  • A chat export that could not be parsed because the file was corrupted, in an unsupported format, or had no recognizable messages.
  • Network interruptions on your device that prevented the wrap from saving.

5. Discretionary refunds

In rare cases we may issue a refund at our discretion, for example an obvious duplicate charge by the payment processor, or fraudulent use of your card. If you believe you have a case, email support@yapd.in within 7 days of the charge with:

  • The email on your Yapd account.
  • The payment provider reference / transaction ID.
  • The amount and date.
  • A brief description of what went wrong.

We respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment instrument within 5–10 business days (subject to your bank’s processing time).

6. Chargebacks

Filing a chargeback for a successfully delivered digital purchase is treated as a breach of these terms. We reserve the right to disable accounts that initiate chargebacks without first writing in. We always prefer a direct conversation.

7. Pricing and currency

Prices are shown in INR for Indian users and USD for everyone else. The currency and amount you pay are confirmed on the checkout page before you submit payment.

8. Free tier and starter credits

Every device gets 2 free starter credits, no account required. Use them. They exist precisely so you can verify Yapd produces something you value before paying. This policy assumes you have done so.
